"A world without coffee, it wouldn’t be fine at all – in fact, it would be very hard. I would feel as if art had disappeared from the world."
My name is Johnny. I’m from Korea, but I live in Milan. As a child, I used to prepare instant coffee. In 2001 I approached specialty coffees, but it was only in 2003 that I made a step up in quality – an Italian company and its trainers passed on to me their “passion for the espresso”, so I had the chance to broaden my professional skills.
I love Argentine tango. It’s the expression of our deepest feelings, such as the taste and aroma of a coffee. Sharing these experiences is an act of love.
It wouldn’t be nice, it would be a very tough world, as if art disappeared all at once.
I have experience of training manager over 10 years.
I love the culture of coffee in Naples, but if I had to choose one single place, that would be the Torrefazione Artigianale Cagliero in Milan. Here you can taste up to 45 types of coffee. It might sound incredible or a bit snob, but it is true – the coffee-shop meets the requests of any kind of customer. The Jamaica Blue Mountain is available as well, served by a very professional barista.
